Corrosion Visualization Augmented Reality

The corrosion visualization augmented reality project will consist of approximately of 20 sensor node (each consisting of wetness, humidity, corrosion and internal and external temperature sensors) logging data at regular intervals. The project will be looking at developing intuitive and effective visualization techniques for this data within an augmented reality realm, and the associated interaction techniques required to focus on the desired information. Following the integration of the visualization and interaction techniques into the Tinmith system, a usability evaluation will be carried to determine the effectiveness of the visualizations relating to physical on-site building and structure inspections.
