My name is Peter Hutterer, I am a PhD student at the Wearable Computer Lab at the University of South Australia. My background is a degree from the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg (course Media Technologies and Design) in Austria.
I moved to Australia during my internship in the second half of 2003 where I was working on HPWatch project. Bruce Thomas, my supervisor, asked me to do a PhD and I commenced my PhD candidature in late 2004. Since then, I am working on Mixed Presence Groupware [1] and lately on the integration of Single Display Groupware into windowing systems [2]. MPX is the result of my work over the last months. MPX is also the first time I am working on a large-scale open source project.
Some more information about me can be found on www.who-t.net.
