The apt repository URL has changed. The uni is changing IP addresses and the old name won't resolve anymore in a few weeks.
The new entry for your apt sources file is:
deb http://wearables.unisa.edu.au/mpx/debian binary/
I finished recording a simple demo video for MPX. This video shows all current features of MPX, interaction with multiple applications, moving and scaling multiple application windows, two-handed interaction with legacy applications, the window manager's annotation overlays and finally the floor control mechanism to restrict parts of the GUI to certain pointers only.
Finally, after days of headache I fixed cursor rendering, the last issue that seriously flawed MPX.
After some feedback via email, I decided to patch against the X11R7.1 release instead of daily CVS builds. I am currently in the process of creating the patches, compiling and packaging the binaries. Expect future release to be compatible to X11R7.1.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
The patches will go online when I have done enough testing to ensure it doesn't segfault.
I had to reboot my testbox yesterday afternoon and all sorts of troubles since. Basically, cursor rendering does not work any more, artefacts all over the screen. I don't know yet whether it is a bug in MPX or my machine is just going nuts.
Currently restoring the backup from two days ago when I made the overlay screenshot and everything worked fine.
Still, at the moment I consider the cursor rendering code as broken.
Patches for MPX 0.13.4 are online. Binaries available from the apt repository are now 0.13.4 as well.
Floor control was fixed 0.13.4 and works nicely now.
This helps for the MPWM 0.8.2 which has floor control and overlay fixed now. Source tarballs and binaries for MPWM are available now too.
MPX 0.13.4 works only with X11R7.1 and newer. LBX was removed with X11R7.1 and so the context for the patch to xserver/dix/property.c is different for X11R7.0 and X11R7.1. If there is demand, I can try to create a patch that works with X11R7.0 but so far I don't know whether anyone except me is playing around with MPX.
MPXlib 0.5.2 and MPWM 0.8.1 are out and in the apt repository now.
I fixed a bug with the access list handling for deny access lists. MPX is up to 0.13.4 in CVS but still compiling.
New packages for MPWM 0.8.2 and MPX 0.13.4 will be available on Monday if everything works fine.
Found several bugs in MPXlib today. Any call to remove or querie the devices in the access lists will break. Some stupid errors and I am currently hunting them down. Updated MPXlib will be available tomorrow.

I shifted all content over from the original webpage. Everything should now be accessible with better navigation and greater extensibility. I got a bit fed up with the HTML pages. And apart from that, MPX now has a swish logo as well :)
The only thing missing in the transition process is to merge all updates from the previous page into the blog. I will backdate them so they confirm with the original posts. In the meantime, have fun trying MPX.

I switched the website over to Drupal today. I hope this makes it a bit easier to put content online. I haven't added all the contents (some howtos are missing) but they will be added over the next days. Drupal should make the whole page look a bit more professional.
